Itineraries along the Tiber = Tevere:
The Tiber is completely navigable and you can enjoy the “Tevere” and Rome from a different point of view. You can feel and discover Rome cruising along the river in a magic atmosphere trought the heart of the Eternal City and enjoy an amazing experience.
Usually I take the boat at “Calata Anguillara” near the “Isola Tiberina” (isola = island) and I buy the daily ticket (€2,30), I suggest you to try this experience. You can see the timetable here.
Or if you like, on Sunday may 25th, you (and the students of Ciao Italia language school), can take the cruise from “Ponte Marconi” (ponte = bridge) sailing toward the ancient town of Ostia and and visit to the archeological digs. Reservations at the secretary’s office by May 22nd
