Learning Italian and amateur Italian cooking courses:

Ciao Italia, the Italian language school in Rome, organises many free of charge activities: Italian movies with introduction, parties, lunches with teachers, nights in typical clubs, guided tours by an art historian as well as special prices for theatres, opera, concerts, restaurants and sports-clubs, but you can also take conversation courses during cooking lessons.

Cooking courses (not professional) are in a private house; the lessons consist of 4-hour theory and practice lessons with an Italian mother tongue teacher. Typical recipes, vocabulary and useful expression to cook converse and… eat together. Small groups upon reservation. More information available at the Secretary’s office.
The price for 4 Hours is 38 € (lunch including)

I think that the idea is great, because I encourage the fact to take cooking courses from its native. But I think also that 4 hours are not enough to learn cooking.

Forse hai ragione, 4 ore non sono sufficienti per imparare a cucinare, ma bastano per imparare alcuni trucchi e per conversare amabilmente con una brava insegnante.

Maybe you are right, 4 hour are not enough to learn cooking, but they are surely enough to learn some tricks and to have a lovely conversation with a good teacher, who speaks Italian :-)
